Staying with tradition

While reading a devotion sent to fellow employees at work, and since researching it some, I find we are staying with the lone treee in a field tradition.  Farmers will plow up or graze around one tree in a field or pasture.  Some say the tradition is to provide shade for the farmer and/or his plow team or its shade for the livestock grazing.  Some say if its an oak tree it could draw lighting away from house and barn due to its strength. I say its because the root system is so large, there would be a crater size hole to fill in!

No matter the reason here is our ‘tree in the field’.
